Estefania Ordaz Terrazas

Estefania is a native of Mexico City but moved to Arizona at the age of eight to pursue her education. At Arizona State University her major is Speech and Hearing Sciences. Following completion of her undergraduate work, she anticipates a master’s degree in communication disorders with a bilingual emphasis. She continues to immerse herself in opportunities that allow her to evolve professionally. Some of her accomplishments include becoming a co-president of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association at ASU, being selected as a recipient of the 2018-2019 CPLC Tomas Espinoza Scholarship, and her extensive volunteer work within multiple communities. She currently works as a research assistant in the Child Language Literacy and Learning Lab (CHILLL) as well as the Communication Neuroimaging and Neuroscience Lab (CoNi) where she continues to develop her research skills. Estefania’s passion and curiosity for how humans communicate has led her to find her voice in an effort to assist others in finding theirs.
