  • Understanding the complex nature of language and reading across development

  • Understanding the mechanisms that contribute to better language and reading outcomes in communities

  • Removing barriers to implementation of evidence-based practices in communities

  • Teaming with community members to develop and test curricula and interventions using a bottom up approach

  • Improving the quality and access to professional development for early childhood educators, harnessing current opportunities across ECE partners

Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) Model has been established as effective tool for healthcare professional development, but is adaptable to sectors like Early Childhood Professional Development.
